Talent Rover was built from necessity. Our founders have about 30 years of experience working in the staffing & recruitment industry. Their experience ranges from Kelly Services and Kforce to owning and operating a recruitment firm with 100 associates. In 2010 they were looking for a new solution and it was clear that there was not a software available that could handle the needs of a company that handled temporary, permanent and retained placements in multiple verticals. The solutions available were dated, unreliable and lacking of any workflows. They decided it was time to bring something to the market that could address this and Talent Rover was born.
Kent Gray has worked in the staffing and recruiting industry for over 20 years. He began his career with a large national firm, where over the span of nine years he went from being an entry-level recruiter to a regional vice president. Kent went on to co-found CVPartners (CVP) where he served as CEO for twelve years. During his tenure at CVP, the company grew to over 70 recruiters with consultants working in 15 states, $40M in revenues, and has received many awards including Best Place to Work, Fastest Growing Companies, and Inc. 500.
In 2012, Kent co-founded Talent Rover, an intuitive, fully integrated cloud-based software solution created by developers from the staffing and recruiting industry. As CEO, Kent continually challenges his team to become the gold standard in customer service, developing features and functionality that will surpass customer expectations. He is also insistent that Talent Rover almost exclusively hire from the staffing and recruiting industry. Kent knows that it is critical to the company’s vision that each employee implicitly understands the pain points from having spent time “on the desk” as well as each client’s specific methodology. With these key policies in place, Talent Rover’s success continues to exceed his expectations.
For nearly a decade, Brandon worked in various roles within the staffing and recruiting industry, with a focus on using technology to drive competitive advantage. His journey began in Denver, where he worked as a recruiter for a multibillion-dollar global staffing corporation. During his staffing career, Brandon received multiple promotions that provided him experience in branch and regional management. His last role before creating Talent Rover found him leading information technology and systems for a rapidly growing Inc. 500 staffing and executive search firm, focusing on strategy, management, and development.
Brandon co-founded Talent Rover to fill the void he saw in the market for a truly integrated technology solution built for staffing and recruiting. Leveraging the experience he gained, he was able to envision, design and lead the development of the Talent Rover platform. Brandon’s goal in developing Talent Rover was to evolve the staffing industry beyond an applicant tracking system (ATS).
